About the Artist

After relocating to the area as a full-time mom, Alex Sayer turned to her creative practice to explore her identity outside of motherhood.

What started out as a little time for herself at the kitchen table bloomed into a necessary tool to help balance a full-time job, family life, and anxiety that wouldn’t quit.

Most of her inspiration comes from exploring the ties between the natural world and her spirituality which she defines as a little bit Pagan and a little bit Buddhist. Her process developed in her home studio over the last 8 years is a therapeutic tool to relax and calm her mind-chatter and to connect with the undercurrent of “being” that pulses through all of creation.

Alex has exhibited her work in Philadelphia, West Chester, and Phoenixville with two solo exhibitions in March and October of 2025. She hopes her practice of being here and now when creating will carry a vibration of peace to her collectors.
